My site won't work for me !!

Hi,

ok.... my site is www.avfconline.com

it seems everyone can get on the site but me !
i have tried configuring with the ie security settings
i have clkeared the cache
deleted all internet files etc.
and i dont have a firewall to block it

i dont no if theres anything else i can do !

if anyone has any ideas to help me .. PLEASE POST THEM

It can depend on your location and your host. Most of my domains resolve within minutes, but on occasion several days. One of mine took four days.

No, It takes different amount of time depending on where your located and your host.

DNS Caching, that's why its only you. You visited the site before the DNS change and your ISP saved the IP address of your old site. Everyone else visiting is going there for the first time, so get the new address.

Usually DNS caching by your ISP doesn't last more than 8-12 hours. If its been two days, something is wrong.

You might also check this to flush your computer's DNS,

Hi Ashdee,

I know it is very irritating when the whole world can see your site but not you yourself :P . I have been in a similiar condtion before. So what I did was to inform my isp and they fixed it :D . May be you should considering dropping them a mail.

-RJ- yes i was told that by someone else as well.....i was able to flush my Cache but....i could not do the last 2 things - "Block Negative Entries" - "Cache TTL"
if you could help me with this please do :o)

Jeba - what did you say to your isp ? if the thing that im trying with the clache dont work ill drop them an email
