(No match for "IAMADOMAINSQUATTER.COM".

"Thanks for the email, we don't really need another domain, but I see the evaluation is ~$850, so can give you $450.00 for it, would that work?"

any suggestions how to react?

thanks @UmerK
a lot of valuable hints

I am doing outbound mainly for Geos in the US right now
but started to do outbound for higher valuale names of all kind
as I am trying to learn the flow the inner mechanics of an outbound

some kind of system
that will work with most of the domains

still learning

so this is my scenario for now:

the offer is send
( would you like to own xxxx.com? )
price is not within the initial email
but on landingpage ( clickable in email )

I can see them open the LandingPage
means seeing my asking price

next they send an email asking
"how much"

or lately
"I take it for $20 USD "

so whats my next ( best ) reply?

For how much - Politely quote the figure on landing page and also hint something like as you would have noticed on the landing page, the price for domain is xxxx

As for the second response - bring in little sarcasm here, when I get offers like these I go ahead like this "Thanks for your very generous offer, I really appreciate it.
However, I would have to decline your offer as our valuation is far apart, the name is worth a lot more than that to me.

Now you can go on to add why is it valuable or alternatively if you are willing to come down hint that as well like I would be willing to drop my price to xxx for you provided you get back to me with an affirmative response within 24 hours/2 days.

I hope this helps!

Geo sales have been slow for a month for me as well but I hardly sent any emails as I was busy with exams, I have restarted marketing since Monday and I hope I will have at least 1 deal in my pocket by this weekend!

I'm not going to help you.
Another member quoted me and I have replied, that's all.

Regarding tactics...
The best way: PHONE + Marketing Director or CEO as target.
Also already said above.
Exactly!

Relying on email to sell is not going to get you a high percentage of closed deals.

You need to engage with a potential client, react to what they are saying instantly and bring energy and excitement to the sales process, this helps with building trust and negotiating price this is very hard, near on impossible to do via email.

You need Directors, SVP's, VP's, for enterprise companies (1000+ employees) - people in charge of budget
CEO's, Managing Directors, Marketing Directors for mid/small size companies (100 - 999 employees)
Owners for small business's (1 - 99 employees)

Intro email if used should be short, to the point and price included. Bullet point the USP's (3 or 4 )
tell them you are "reaching out to a select few companies" - implying that they are not the only company in the running

Say you look forward to their response

Sign off with all relevant contact details for yourself, including mobile number.

just my 2 cents......

I have been doing outbound sales since I was 16 so it is now 20 years in total and counting. That's my experience.

I don't need to get past the gatekeeper anymore, I use the below (no affiliation)

www.lusha.co

Regarding outbound emails.....

Do them every day and if I get a positive reply I ask for their number - If they give it you know they are serious and not going to waste my valuable time and conduct the rest of the process via phone with follow up emails - this also speeds up the whole process

Why Lusha? Any advantage over the competition? They seem pricier.
