My Logo ...

Right, so I haven't been happy with the Rednerve logo for some time now and have decided to tackle the problem. I have come up with two new logos, both based on the same concept and want to see what you guys think.

Which of those do you guys prefer or should I just start over from scratch? Also, if you don't like all of the logo(s), could you tell me exactly what elements you do and don't like.

Maybe I'm the late bird here, but when a first saw your design I somehow picture a "Target Sight" where the mouse is. The mouse seems be a little abstract anyway, so maybe a target sight would be nice.
Anyway, just an idea.

yeah... i agree with you... you should try to colour a little bit more....

Here is another thought. I like how you have included freelance design, good touch but, for your logo I think you can have a powerful mark by just using your first option without freelance designer underneath of it. For example, look at Nike, they have a swoosh it doesn't have to say directly underneath it or as part of the design what they do. Anyhow, the mouse portrays that it involves computers and then wherever you are putting your logo whether on stationary, on-line, or anywhere else you plan to use your logo you can still include that information just not as part of the logo...you know what I mean, simple and clean are the most powerful and often the most memorable!
So, could you give this a try... Go to your number one logo, remove freelance design. Then post as is just in red and then try one all red except for the mouse make it silver or black (Just to see what it looks like).
