My Logo ...

Right, so I haven't been happy with the Rednerve logo for some time now and have decided to tackle the problem. I have come up with two new logos, both based on the same concept and want to see what you guys think.

Which of those do you guys prefer or should I just start over from scratch? Also, if you don't like all of the logo(s), could you tell me exactly what elements you do and don't like.

I like the first one because the 'mouse' on the side fits into it. It looks really nice. Having it disconnected on the bottom like that seems akward, and the whole logo does not flow togeather well.

However, I do like that gray to kindof contrast the red in the bottom logo. Posisbly add some of that gray to the top logo.

I like 4 the best but I still think the red bar that it's in should be a bit bigger cuz the text look like it is getting pushed out.

Added a slight transformation to make it fit in the container a bit better. Does that look good now? Also, what do you guys think to the circular icon? Does it look OK or should I try to go for a new one?

I prefer the mouse, since after all, this is for a freelance/portfolio type site, not a car site

#6 is my fav. catches the eye more, although the mouse symbol makes more sense for a logo related to design/pc/mouse etc...

Might be good to think up a symbol/concept to represent "nerve" although that would be pretty tough... although nerve could imply; courage, bravery and spirit, it could also be an optic nerve or a "bundle of fibres made up of neurons", in this sense #6 makes more sense because it could be seen as fibres.

Perhaps use the nerve fibre concept and take away the middle circle of the #6 symbol so that it appears "sharper"? or somehow give the symbol a sharper look, with fibres.

hmm... I just checked out your site, and your current logo, and I like it better than any of these new ones. I like clean & simple logos... keep it simple I say, or just keep the same logo.

Nice... I quite like that.

The red only being on the mouse though, not 100% sure about that... but that is my fav so far, probably more than your current one as well, or pretty close.

Mouse + circle from #3 with #2's text.
I love #2 for its simplicity (compared to the others), nice layout of text, bit more spacey and easier on the eye.

I always feel simple logos are easier to remember and therefore will have a larger impact on your visitors.

I like the last one.
Change can be good but usually minor changes are more welcomed than huge changes. I think just a few minor adjustments to above and your current logo and you will have somethintg very clean and professional.

May I ask what font you used?
