.tv My IDN's

As some of you may have realised I am 'thinning' my tv portfolio. This is not because I do not believe in the domains but rather because I have decided to focus my efforts on 3-4 development domains in the short term and keep no more than 20 long term.

In my signature you will note a few of the IDN's I hold. I will be offloading some of those IDN's over the next month and if you are interested in any I would invite you to PM me (No open posts please with $ please).

Some of these domains I truly value so please don't be offended if I do knock you back as the domains that I choose to transfer will most likely be advertised to potential buyers in the native country to maximise their value.

Being IDN's none are "premium" regs, though some clearly should be! They are currently registered with dd24.net at approximately $30 each.

How is the traffic on IDNs.TV names?

To be honest I have never tested it. I would expect that the korean domains get traffic as .tv is very popular in korea but would be surprised in the chinese/japanese domains get much.

Can you please say a little more about what you know regarding .tv, Korea and its popularity there?

Korea is a great future predictor since it is one of, if not the, most advanced country in the world for broadband

I'd be VERY surprised if your IDN.TVs aren't getting much traffic --- because my Arabic.TVs are getting some traffic [maybe 100/month?], but they are country names. With everyone arguing about mobi vs idn, it has left a lot of time open for me to snag some really good IDNs in .com/nets/tv Some have kicked off very nicely -- I wasn't expecting traffic like this till mid '07 - early '08.


I'd be interested if you had some Arabic IDNs. If you do, let me know! Also, if you plan on developing, it seems that IDNs are getting good placement in SEs... regardless of TLD. So you can make some VERY nice income off of some mini sites if you develop those names. One mini site of mine receives 300-400 visits/day
