My first witness of a high-speed car chase

I live on Central Park Ave., one of the busiest streets of Westchester, New York. It was around 11 PM, not too many cars, but still a fair amount of cars on the road. It was a normal drive, and I see 2 cars speeding, crossing lanes, and acting like they were drunk. They seemed like they were having a street race (they probably were.) They go on for about 30 seconds, until they reach a red light. Surprisingly, they stopped. Next thing you know, a police car catches up before the green light comes on. The police man blocked the road, ramming the car so the car wouldn't try to escape... still he managed to get through. Next thing I know, they're speeding up a hill, while all the cars on the road watched in shock... It's one of those things where you have to be there to 'experience' it.. Oh man, it was awesome. I wonder if he was ever caught?

Never witnessed a chase in person, but I have on COPS.

Haha, COPS is a great show... now that I've seen one in real life, I am officially a man.

My favorite was with the kids taunting the cops all the while... driving in circles in an intersection with the cops playing "follow the leader", mugging out the windows for the news cameras, stopping to talk to friends on the street, all this time 10-15 cop cars chasing them... I'll look for the video, it was unreal.
