Maybe emergency services need retests to learn how to drive?

This is the 3-4 reported accident in the last month, over england, were an emergency service vehicle has crashed.

The police here are always speeding, i was going 35mph in a 30 zone, with a police car behind me, and it overtook me, he was not a callout.

This accident is probably another example of police stupidity.

I was stopped and warned for going through an AMBER light, he claimed i went on red, but i knew it was amber.

I have 2 near misses with police cars in the last month, both when they dangerously overtook me, without flashing lights, in a 30 zone which i was already going slightly over the limit.

It is not only the police, ambulances as well are causing a problem.

Fire Trucks are limited to 80mph, so they can't go much over the speed limit, but they weigh something like 7tonnes, if they hit you, assume yourself dead.

I hope a extensive investigation is held about this accident. It delayed my journey today by more than 2 hours.

Feel free to ask me questions,

Rob

It totally depends on which police force it is. There are several in England for every county.

The police around here do a damn fine job. I guess the emergency services drivers in Cornwall are genuinely bad drivers?

Of course they "speed", that's how they get to the emergency so quickly - if they didn't then people may die or who knows what.

And are you sure that traffic light of yours wasn't a red/amber jig? Because if you go on red/amber then it's still red.

I am not saying that all of the drivers are bad, but it is just stupid the way they drive.

They are only allowed to speed in emergencys, but this cop was not a on call out.

tm, i never had time to stop when i reached the lights.
