My first attempt at photography

Alright so this weekend, I went down to Mt. Lemon (Biggest Mountain in Tucson, if not AZ..) and decided to try to take some pictures..

I dont have no fancy camera, ive got a little 7.1 MP Cam..

What do you guys think? I know its nothing GOOD, but its somewhat good scenery shots in my opinion...

Yeah, I just kind of took pictures of nice things =D, I posted this on another forum, and got a big E-Lecture of how the angles should be, and I only had one good picture becuase there was a diagonal angle across a horizontle line or something.. hah

Try www.digital-photography-school.com - LOTS of great tips there.

As an amateur photographer myself (www.finerpixels.com) - you're doing well for a start... if you want to actually get into the hobby, though, I'd recommend getting a DSLR. You'll have more precise control over things like aperture, exposure, etc.

Yeah, some of the lower-end ones... it's expensive, but with them you can take great pictures and sell a couple dozen prints and there you have it - you've already reimbursed your initial DSLR expense with print sales.

Enjoyed them - One thing about my "photo taking skills" (misnomer) is that I take dozens of photos of the same shot/scene/object hoping that one will turn out when I view them all later - not counting on my skills, but more the "infinite monkey" theory

I just recently purchased myself a olympus spz 510. Its not an slr camera, but it does have 10x optical zoom.
