Canon G10 - User opinions.

I am about to buy a canon G10 to take on my hikes for landscape photography, candid pictures of family, friends etc.

I am looking for users opinions. I do not want a full SLR camera due to size and weight, I do want to shoot in RAW format to be able to optimise poor shots on the PC.
