advice My domain is for sale on site but not by me

A domain I hand reg'd a few weeks ago is seemingly listed for sale on Name .com !? I'm guessing it must have been reg'd at some point in the past & listed for sale there, the owner having dropped it but forgotten to delist it ? Came across it via whois.

I reg'd it at Godaddy & it has Dan.com servers, does Name .com have anything to do with either of these !?

Probably listed on Afternic. You can always search for it on dofo.com and see where a name is listed.

The best you can do is to email Name.com and ask them to take it down. It's pretty much useless anyway since you control the nameservers. But I know it's annoying, all the same.

Check if it is listed at Afternic by the previous owner.

Make an offer not too high let them think there is room for movement. They will either realize mistake or play ball. Then add it all to this forum for our entertainment.
