i was a few clicks away from signing up when i read a few posts here about whypark pages getting de-indexed, most likely due to duplicate content. it defeats the purpose of signing up.

what was worse was kelly's reaction to my concerns. it seemed like she didnt know that google can blacklist certain domains and that google doesn't like sites that have duplicate content. she passively refused to address the issue further from there

L2 this is for you:

is it still worth it?

i will admit, it's a much better option than signing up for a server and trying to create mini-sites yourself. you could still control the content so that you have unique articles. most mini-site developers aren't going to actually need their own server space. the content issue aside, it still comes with loads of goodies

Draftwireless.com set up by Whypark for 99 cents is #1 in one day

Whoa... Lride55

You registered "draftwireless.com" five days ago OOTB, pointed it to a $.99 site at Whypark, and in a "quoted search" for the term "draft wireless" with 29,400 results, your site came up as NUMBER ONE? This is a search for the phrase and NOT the domain name? That is ASTOUNDING. I'm checking your facts right now and everything you say is absolutely correct.

Basically, you just showed the power of Whypark with good configuration to put a domain less than 24 hours old at the NUMBER ONE SPOT on a quoted google search on the domain name generic phrase. Many domainers would do weird acrobatics to achieve that, including myself. Congrats to you and Whypark! keep up the good work!

ok, it's worth a shot

noomle's web site.. and domain for that matter, really turned me off

whypark looks much more professional. if you're making good money through there now that's terrific, you're success is a great contribution to the NP community. but i wouldnt bet the farm that they last forever

i hope you're just as good with saving money as you are with developing mini-sites :)
