Sorry I have been quiet for some time-but have been swamped work-wise.

In any case, my first .tv, developed, is up and running.

www.election.tv

We are still in "beta" whatever that is supposed to mean but I hope by the 2008 election to have some traction.

Very nice. Good luck. Depending on your capital that you have available to spend on promoting the site...there are some great campaign you that you can use through direct mail that might cost 1-2¢ per household to expose people to the site. In theory you can expose 10,000 households in their mailboxes (curbside/legally) for about $100 or so.

This is just a thought. Not sure what your plans are to generate income from the site (outside of the obvious..click traffic ads etc.) But I think there may be a lot of potential with elections coming up.

You know the beauty of this name and site: It is not only for 2008 or 2012, or only for US, you can easily extend it to at least to Canada.

Then you can extend it to individuals to support their favorites say by a video campaign.

Ad revenue, you have to be careful in deciding a practical way yet not cheap looking.

You got my vote! Clean presentation... with clean "brand" names.

A few comments, if I may...

I did not see any vids for the three candidates I checked. Many candidates, and community activists, are posting debate and campaign vids to You Tube, Google et al. Why not use/embed those?

What will distinguish your election/candidate data from that provided by "the media" and esthablished rep nonprofit citizen groups?

Consider calling your audience readers or viewers instead of "consumers" and "users"?
