The Metaverse is the next big thing with many of the Big Tech players already involved so thought it deserved a dedicated ‘MV’ thread.

Lots of keywords like Glasses, NFT’s etc are already taken but there are lots still available.

Just picked up ‘MVTokens’ in king

Happy hunting!

As mentioned already in the metaverse thread, it looks like CloudMV dot com was purchased as well, l by a Chinese blockchain company. It was previously for sale for $1,000

I know the owner.
Seems like he is shy about admitting that he's a MV investor. There have been thousands of MV domains tegged since I mentioned that I'm investing in them a couple months ago, but there's been only a few showcased. I think it's because people are cautious not to be associated with MV in case it turns out to be a dud, especially if they paid 3,700 for a name.

I bet he'd showcase the sale of MV+Games though 😁

He has been a domain investor for years now but not active last few years.
It's a simple bet he took.

It's a small risk when you weigh the potential. It's not any MV name, it's MVGames. If MV takes off he may have the most valuable 2 word Metaverse related domain IMHO.

Someone just regged about 120 hyphened MV-Keyword domains yesterday, including MV-Creator(s).com

Also just yesterday 100 MVerse domains were regged, including MVerse dot casino and dot p*rn.

You guys have gone MV crazy... And none of you are showcasing haha...

There were probably a total of around 15K MV/erse domains regged in the last 2 months...

There's only been 3 or 4 sales. One of which is confirmed to be a domainer investment.

Lol, none for me.

I haven't bought a name in a while,
I think my last one was in March.

I think what gives people confidence in their bet for MV is the use of it occasionally on Twitter. That's what made me pull the trigger as well...aside from the few cos that have mentioned it that ice seen on Google spanning back 10 - 15 years.

So investing MV names, while still a gamble, isn't a complete shot in the dark...

Do you mean you haven't reg or acquired any MV names? "Bought" could mean either (but not necessarily both) .

I hate to see how many people have been regging, MVS, MVRS and MTVRS donains.... I took a peek the other day and cringed. One of those may sell though.... But that's like playing the lotto (with less evidence than MV or MVerse).

There is no end to the how many ways you can acronym the word Metaverse.

I haven't registered or bought or acquired any name at all since March.

They were also on my list...ussuakky the names on my lists are exceptional and are plucked off so no surprise really...

There are still dozens more regged every day...

Must add again that in cases like these with an acronym that is mostly speculative better to get only the best names
I did that on 2016-2017 with XR and it worked i guess so im not totally against just caution to new investors

I agree. I'd go as far as saying MV is even more speculative/risky than XR was in it's early days. Today at this time I only see few people on Twitter using the term and I think Microsoft has it in some pdfs online but not in their public marketing if I remember correctly. It's still more obscure than XR was bc XR was catching on with developers and creators.

But come to think of it, it's actually better that a term catches on first in the public so that it's not limited to business to business sales. But still MV has a looong way to go. Still super risky.

With these kind of investments buying great options for regfee and sitting on them is the best option so all good if people not going crazy
