Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone on this great forum. Many of you know be from my 99 cent Ebay auctions. With this recession, I find the domain business has been affected like many other industries, so why not take an opportunity to steer in a different direction. On new year's day I made a resolution to write, sing, record and mix my own music cd and have it sell 1 million copies.

It's never too late to go for your dreams, and I'm set on doing everything I can to achieve this goal. If there is anyone out there on the fence about whether or not you should go for your passion in life, I say evaluate your goals, be prepared for a long road ahead, and go for it!

My hat goes off to you, I have been doing the same thing with writing songs using my computer, and it can be a lot of fun. Years ago when RJ started this forum, I decided to start a music forum for people who wanted to record their songs using a computer, Digital Audio Recording Help, Recording Music With a Computer

And lately we are working on building an online radio station to showcase the independent artists who have actually created something to listen to DAW Digital Audio Workstation, WDAW.com Independent Musicians Online Radio There is a niche of people who consider recording music with a computer is called a "Digital Audio Workstation" and that's why we grabbed the name.

I wish you luck, and if you need any help with your audio, stop by the forum at AudioMinds and they will help you along, we have some world class musicians and engineers there. You actually wouldn't believe who some of our members are.

Wow, man, you're on the right track! Congrats!

This is also my latent passion, lol, song writing, but until now I am still aching to learn piano although I can play guitar a little. I think I will never be an instrument holder due also to a back problem. I tried joining a song composition contest for a radio program when I was a lot younger and that was it. I love musical shows and concerts, I have been served all types of music since I was little because my family is also very music-minded. I love the tunes from the '80's so if I ever write a song it would have to be with good lyrics and melody. Maybe someday we could collaborate on a song, I do the lyrics and melody and you the arrangement for instrumentation and vocals. How about that?
