Mox.tv sold for $5,000 at Afternic. Thanks to Garp for the heads up! The new owner is MoxTV.com. Their Facebook page already references the URL change.

the site reminds me of 'heroes' pop.tv .......which is now defunked

Its nice to see the TV.com redirect to the .tv. I have always thought somone could do what MTV was at the beginning and do ok with the concept.

Heroes tried simular and it did not work it seems, how will it make revenue i wonder ?

No I remember Pop.tv, I spoke to Mark about it many times and even helped with promotion. It was like an indie You Tube. I think Mox is looking to be like an online version of a cable tv station.

I guess the model is like Vevo on You Tube.

MoxTV.tv is also developed its a company in Brazil, looks like they were selling real estate on their program, I do not speak Portuguese.
