I entered a back order for a domain a week or so ago then removed it at least one full day before the drop.
Guess what. Pool caught it, charged my account and now I own the domain. They said the backorder was placed on May 18 was is not true.
So, BE WARNED if you place a back order and pool and remove it and they catch, you just might end up with the domain anyway.
Just got my notice from namescout that the domain is now in my account. They sent me my username and password in an email.
Have you EVER gotten your password sent to you without asking from any registrar?
I shake my head anytime I deal with pool. They lost a HUGE opportunity but have done so much bad business over the years that I HATE to use them now.
Now they are going to be tied in with the next .eu which is .asia. A perfect match.
