OK, so they say it could be up to seven days but why are they so slow to effect transfers?

Someone pushed a domain to me six days ago (Moniker -> Moniker) and there's no sign of it yet. I guess I'll have to put in a ticket if it doesn't show up tomorrow.

Is this slow service typical of Moniker? I don't know, I only just opened my account there.

Transfer or push?

Just did a transfer to Moniker took just 6 days.

Pushes are immediate so you should check that the push was effected correctly.

Thanks. It was a push. Moniker to Moniker. Sorry for any confusion. I'll put in a ticket.

Moniker do drag their feet .. they recently gave me an EPP for a transfer out .. 10 days later and multiple emails I discovered that the EPP was invalid according to the verisign rules - it contained a '&' character .. so they generated a new one .. but I am still waiting for the transfer.

Wow, that's ridiculous.:notme:

Anytime I do transfers they get done the same day and 99.9% of the time within hours:hehe:

Thanks, guys. I guess I'll just have to keep on at them until they do it.

a push (Moniker -> Moniker) should only take 1 minute!

@ owntype Thanks for the heads up about emailing Bari. We got a very quick response.

Obviously something has gone wrong somewhere, but I'm sure we'll get it fixed. Nothing to worry about. B-)

Edited to add:

Yep. All sorted. Just a small mistake - now fixed.

As you say, networkmsia, it only took minutes.

Moniker I believe does a queue for pushes that happens every 10-30 minutes. I can't be sure but I have never had a push take longer and it's almost never instant as some registrars.

Waiting 15 minutes has never been a problem and I normally tell people this buying a domain and to just wait for 30 minutes and it will be in their account. If it's not in there after 30 minutes you should contact Moniker.

You said "push" but do you mean transfer? They are not the same.

Glad it was all resolved however just for clarification, transfers from one registrar to another can take up to 10 days to complete however a push from one Moniker account to another is instant.
