Moniker customer support--no response.

I've been a big fan of Moniker, as many established members of this forum can attest to; however, I am stunned by the lack of response from Moniker's customer support lately.

I emailed customer support on 10/8--no response.
I left a VM on 10/13---still no response.

What's frustrating is that I've got 500+ domains with them and you would think an individual with that many domains would at least get a response...

Anyone else had similar experiences lately?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I recently had an issue, and received support via e-mail within hours. Even though the information sent really served no purpose to solving my problem... they did reply.

Anyways, I have noticed a lack of educated responses to some of my issues, maybe they've hired a new support staff... ? And I also noticed the grammar used in some of the responses was quite funny.. (ie "take them" turned into "take'm" and so on) Didn't seem very professional.

Outsourced? :-/

yes, i'd have to agree that moniker's staff is lackluster - at least to response times.

i'm still waiting for my Traffic East payment to arrive - it's been sometime now.
and i haven't gotten a response regarding this!

yep agree. 2 people keep Moniker going.
Monte and Glenda.
The reps however are a joke and if they keep ignoring me , they better get ready :imho:

check on dnf for example when the last time those jokers actually checked into the forum. Don, 6 weeks ago.
sent a few emails and they're getting ignored., i have huge respect for Monte and Glenda (who holds the place together :sold: ) but even a huge Moniker fan like me is getting a little pissed off just lately.

so, er Moniker is a Mom and Pop Co ? :|

Yes,but Mom is in the kitchen baking and dad is watching football.

Actually I have been recieving emails from them lately-only to advise me to renew my expiring domains. I guess they didn't notice I was not getting any response from them, so I moved my domains some time ago and don't have any to renew there anymore LOL.

This does not make me happy. I was all set to move my entire portfolio over to Moniker, then I read this. Then I go to transfer two domains that are expiring next week and it starts processing and then it just hangs. I go check by bank account and it's at least put a hold on the amount if not charged me already. I go into my account and no transfers are listed. So I emailed support and sales. Then I read this and emailed for my account execs information. So now I am get to sit and wait and hope this gets resolved before my domains expire.

I emailed Monte a few minutes ago and he has already responded. He said he will have support help.

So how this gets handled will tell me if I should move all domains or not.

Perhaps Moniker needs to invest in a ticket system. There are free scripts available :]
