Hello everyone,
I came across a service from Moniker where they would be a broker for you and put forward an offer on your behalf and you would only pay if they were succesful in acquiring the domain for you, (https://www.domainsystems.com/bidform.php?domain).
You do have to put an min. offer of $400 but to me it's better then the $20 certified offer Network Solutions takes regardless of a succesful bid.
However I have put several offers over the $400 mark through Monikers service, on several different domains and despite their promise that they'll get back to you in 3 days I have never recieved any response back, apart from the soulless automated email notifying your interest in the domain you have inquired on. I find it a lazy approach as they should get back to you and let you know, even when your bid has been unsuccesful. 1. Either this service is purely automated to only forward bids to thier staff over a substantial amount or 2. The service is totally defunct.
Has anyone else had an experience with this service? More importantly and the reason for this whole rant is, does anyone know of a trusted service where there are no fees upfront to inquire about the purchase of a domain?.
Thank you.
