Money Sucks

So, here goes my little pity story:

Recently, the Northern Kentucky area has been hit with a lot of bad storms. One of the worst spots hit was Hebron, KY, where my dad works. To our shock and grief, the roof of his building had collapsed, and he is now out of a job for 6-8 months. He is only able to find small side jobs, but nothing amazing.

And oh yea! My mom lost her baby sitting job completely, losing $700/month, and the restaurant where she works, Golden Coral, is going from being waitress run to being self serve. She was cut from about 40 hours a week to 10 over a course of 3 days, making roughly $150/week. Money sucks right now. I just restarted doing graphics to help all I can - every penny counts at this moment in time I just don't know what else to do - aside from working illegally under the table, there are no jobs I am able to get. Even McDonalds and other fast food places are full.

So if you are relegious, whether it be Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.

We are looking for a new place now to move into - we pay around $750/month for rent and bills, and the place we are looking into now, which is a 1 bed room apartment, is $200/month for rent with no utilities included. So yea, this is no fun.

money never sucks But the life sucks without money

I have recently been through some issues with my dad losing his job. He was a general manager and was being paid really good salary. Based on that we settled for a nice lifestyle. Which started sucking when his job was lost.

As he and me were the only people who were earning in the family. It was all on my shoulders now. I did it all smoothly because my earnings were also good. Only thing was or first time I saw the stress that money can cause Now everything is cool because he got a job and this time his salary is 2.5 times more then what it used to be :D

Just be strong as this times will pass away

I am really sorry to hear about your present financial condition.
To tell you the truth, this is a stage where you really need to stay confident and build up your mind to overcome the challenges.

We all need money to lead our life.. but certain things (like true love etc.) in life cannot be bought by money.
So dont feel like "If money is gone.. everything is gone"
I am sure you have the talent and expertise to make money in the nearest future.
I wish you all success in your endeavors.

Hey X,

Man you know my family and I will pray for your family. These are trying times. Don't start macking out! Your going to get through this stronger.

My house just burned down a month ago. Most likely set abaze by tenants I had to remove from a rental property. Now I am in the rental and fixxing it up. I've gotten a chance to step back and look clos at thingse. I need to be smarter as I suspect we all do.

Don't give up or get down. Strength is gained from facing your fears.

Maybe you could find work at the Creation "Museum". I know they hire graphics designers now and then. Ken Ham is kind of crazy, but if it pays the bills, go for it.
