Mods, please put this in right section!
Sorry

Thought I would share this email I just got. Again, I've used these guys before with good results. The only thing to note is, they do charge a paypal fee if you don't email them first and put funds into account. The fee's not much, but if you're going to reg a few, it's worth emailing them before hand.

Forgot to mention, they also offer free privacy....
Enjoy:

Great find :)

edit: It's been moved from the .mobi marketplace to the general .mobi forum to maximize it's response.

I guess .mobi has to be registered for min of 2 years ?
Also, is this company trustable ?

Welcome to NP uncz...
To answer your questions:
No- You can register a mobi for 1 year. Just choose it as an option
As far as are they "trustable"
I'd say about as trustable as any other reseller...In other words, it's hard to tell of any company that's been around for a year or less. The only thing I can say is I've used them off and on since Jan, 07. Any time I've had ay problems, they were right on top of things and fixed them. They are one of MANY resellerclub registrars. I'm told if they should happen to go under, resellerclub itself would still have the domains. Some other resellerclub sites are answerable.com, whiz.in and registermatrix.com.
Hope this helps and again...welcome to NP Mobi section! :hi:

Great competition for the big registrars, always happy to pay a dollar or two extra & go to the bigger registrars though

Competition can only help drive down their prices which is good

In my case, it would depend on the name involved. In other words, if the reg was what I would consider someone of a long shot (which pretty much sums up most of todays fresh ones), I'd go cheap. I'd also swing that way if privacy is an issue, as these resellerclub dealers all seem to offer this FREE.
If I were dealing with a name or two I had a strong belief in, I'd definitely go with big daddy or moniker (if they would ever come down). They also have the free email and other assorted goodies that resellerclub charge extra for.

Anyway you choose, Good Luck!

A little friendly advice as well....do your homework on new mobi regs. You just might find some after market names that are better than what you might be considering registering floating around for just a little more than reg fee....sometimes even less than reg fee.... :hehe:

Thanks for that nice reply. :td:
The price matters a lot when the domains are more than 100. Even with $ 2 difference in price, it becomes $200. Also, i do not like Godaddy, as their renewal is always higher. And i could never find a suitable coupon for getting discount on renewals. Only they offer good price for new regs.

I guess $6.49 for a .mobi is the lowest i have seen so far. And its good that one can do it for one year only. Am new to .mobi market, but have some new ideas to reg some cool domains.

Moniker is trying to compete aswell (by far my favorite registrar) They've downed them to 9.95 .. as stated above, might pay the extra 2/2.5 to have my new .mobi registrations at a registrar I trust.

$9.95 is too much compared to the prices we are talking about. Its a big 50 % more if we talk in percentage and not just $ 2 - 3

I will also keep trust with some big companies if the domains are premium. If the names are not that premium and the numbers are higher, its good to go with smaller companies which are offering great prices. After all, most of them are from Resellerclub, so in case of any dispute, Resellerclub will help. :imho:

ResellerClub has the offer on (6.49) which is actually the same price as their .com's currently. This is a short period this is going to occur and expect them to return to the normal $8 shortly.

gdtechindia.com or what ever is just 1 in the 20,000 different reputable ResellerClub sellers that have this promotion. However in order for the "reseller" to generate some kind of a profit they much add onto the price. This company however has chosen to take the lose for the gain in customers. Nothing wrong with that, but not many small companies do it. As most of the customers they get are low-ballers who pop around to different companies to buy their domains at the cheapest possible price.

This is a "reseller" company who's prices are usually below that of the regular "standard" companies. The resellers usually up them to get an income. So generally it evens out.

As far as trustable goes, it depends if they fill their reseller account. If they do, your fine. Otherwise you might have to either wait or yell at ResellerClub, they are pretty good at fixing any problems you might have with a reseller, just not your domains.

You are quite right Steve, This company, GDTECHINDIA, which Work in Progress suggested is offering an additional discount on all domains, or just at their cost price. I have no idea why they are doing it. Maybe as a promotion, or they are making money selling hosting or other services.

I just registered 10 domains with them to give it a try and everything happened instantly. I have been with one resellerclub site earlier, but their support was really bad and replies were coming after 2 days.

I guess the mobi price cut is only for a few days all over the web, but this company has the lowest price.
