How do you make money off of a .mobi extension?

I'll post one sites earnings for the past year.
Keep in mind that i have more than one advertiser as well. i only posted admob stats because that is what is being discussed or mentioned by you. i make close to 3k a month in total on my mobi sites including all affiliates.

I'm not "shooting anything down" or, as suggested above, "accusing anyone of lying" ... I'm simply looking for honest clarification, IMHO. I saw the GIF on the shania.mobi/etc. but I also know that Rob is involved with parking "dot Mobeys" on his MobiSiteTrader platform, as well. :gl:
Are the Nov. 1st - Dec. 1st ad requests / revenues above for shania.mobi alone ... or do these STATS include other developed generic & memorable "dot Mobey" (and which ones?) sites that are highly ranked in the search engines?

Goes to show that parking your mobi's just doesnt pay anyway you look at it but i created the site to give mobi people a better option than sedo and godaddy for parking your mobi names.

Yup to be clear, i am expecting to earn closer to 3.5k this month from my generic developed mobey names.

My last years earnings have been published here in this book

This year my earnings have increased 50% easily this is the first time since that book was released that i have posted my earnings.

It seems that the parking site is a drain on the wallet but it is thru the goodness of my investors heart that i keep this server up and running.

It's been established that parking "dot Mobeys" is not a fulfilling career path, IMHO ... and it seems fair to say, at least for you, that the long and awkward "dot Mobey" (IMHO) has not been a hindrance to you and your SEO and monthly revenue performance, as well.
How would you recommend ... at this point in time ... that someone new or newer to domains, and specifically "dot Mobey" domains, have the potential to earn at least similar $3,000/month?
Does having pure "dot Mobey" generics matter ... to a very large degree? IYHO.

Fair enough, I figured as much ... generic terms even seem, to some degree, to make the inherently awkward and long "dot Mobey" extension less of a hindrance (in the context of monetizations) - when combined with proper SEO techniques (that Mr. Reece appropriately mentioned here earlier in the thread), IMHO. :gl:

Dont quote me on this but i believe that 85% of people that google anything click on the first search result. which has previously posted is shania.mobi. i occupy the first and second search results.

i own 150 dotmobi girls first names currently ive only developed ten. Im sorry im not posting which names earn what because trust me that my competitors would love to know that info.

I released 3 sites last month .. within 15 days those 3 sites where getting 500 visitors a day each. earning close to $15/day

Yeah, I don't believe your 85% / "first result" percentage is correct, IMHO ... but I typically default to the established .COM (and which came up easily in the first results for "shania twain" at Google™) - I would never search for "shania twain 3gp", humbly)! :music:

Good enough and I understand your reasoning, but for the purposes ... and I greatly appreciate your understanding ... of the integrity of this thread, we would need verifiable and FULL detailed monthly revenue stats (for all "dot Mobey" domains/sites)! :gl: :imho:

^ Righto, I got that one Rob ... the developed "Shania.mobi" one year revenues from AdMob™ from 12/23/07 - 12/23/08 were $1,494.40 from your screenshot IMHO. :gl:

Why do you keep avoiding to explain - why you feel that that only 3 character extensions are simple and not difficult to monetize?? And why do you keep turning the conversation for others to prove your points of view??

It would be nice to finally get a clarification on what you base your 'many times stated' opinion on this very subject of monetization and the length of extensions! (And not another 'blame others reply'.)

Or is it again, your hate for one particular extension that makes you only babble this, again 'dribble', on .mobi, but not the other 4 letter or more, extensions??? I mean they are extensions with 'long', 'awkward' unfortunate traits too. Your 'dribble' analogy can't only apply to one extension that is the same as others, so again, please clarify the difference in why you only say 'one' extension is not 'monetizable, yet you don't say the same about the others.
