Haha you let me laugh.

For the people / friends here on the thread. Some time ago i had a private chat with Elad and i was saying to him "I am a difficult eater, only interested in adult and gambling domains". But for the last months i have been regging indeed a lot of mainstream domains. Maybe growing up and looking outside the box did the trick for me... reading and learning from others here on the forum!

As Facebook, Google, Sony, Samsung and others invest heavily in virtual reality (VR), Microsoft is on a different path. Instead of blindfolding us with headsets and taking us into an entirely new world, Microsoft wants to blend fiction with what's already around us to create mixed reality (MR).

Where VR is perfect is when you want to jump into an entirely new world, MR has the potential to succeed in situations where human interaction is still required. Designing a new kitchen, looking at an apartment off-plan or changing the paint of a new car in the showroom; these are all examples where HoloLens can put the virtual product and a real human within the wearer's sight at the same time. It's a far more social experience than being locked away in VR.

It is rare in this job to be truly blown away by new technology, and while HoloLens isn't the finished product just yet, it can create those moments where we realise we have witnessed something truly amazing. Now it is over to the developers, for it is their skill and imagination which are needed if HoloLens and mixed reality are to be a success.

HoloLens will be the first real MR consumer device hitting the shops somewhere in the near future. Nice they call HoloLens and MR together in new articles. This way even withoud Magic Leap, MR domains will rise in value.

besides , about MR term ... slowly it becomes the term for AR+VR+AI .

It would be a great way to redeem myself... to late in the game (early 2015) for real premium VR domains... but holding a great MR portfolio. I would not invest my money in anything other besides VR and MR. If you have asked me in 2015 about the future i was all-in with VR but nowadays MR is more and more important to me. I am often thinking about all the new possibilities and how much magic this will bring. There will be a huge shift in investments and money changing hands... someons loss (old tech / websites / services) will be another ones rise / profit.

Cards are shuffeld again to be dealt for a new game with new opportunities. The decline of the old and the rise of a new consumer market.
