My domains:

MixedRealitySchool
MixedRealityMath
MixedRealityPhysics

if we get a big mister sales then fair enough.

All the big companies looking to get into the Mixed Reality space are quoting the tech as "MR".

Look at all the tech articles on the internet and they have no problem referring the tech as "MR"

"MR" will happen, and imo it will be the premium choice for end users looking to get into the mixed reality space.

I also used to question the mister association. But if you do enough research you will find out that "MR" will be the abbreviation of Misted Reality. There is no doubt in my mind about it.

It really doesn't matter anymore at this stage. Best premium keyword MR domains are already regged and the non believers are to late to buy at a low price. For the early adopters / investors the "mister" dislike created only less competition and for that i am grateful.

Looking forward to 2017 and the mainstream breakthrough of Mixed Reality (MR).

just not sure of this mister thingy

Not sure what the disconnect is for you, but the term Mister has absolutely nothing to do with Mixed Reality or MR, discussion and names, which is the purpose of this thread.

Rather than continually trying to stir the proverbial hive, and pad your post count with more off topic gibberish, perhaps create a separate thread where you and others can discuss and/or whine about "Mister" domain names till the cows come home. Cheers!

# This is nothing to get excited about because Apple can still choose to position themselves wherever they feel they have the best chance to make an impact on the market. But interesting points nonetheless that even if they come out with a VR/AR product in the next couple of years, they could be working on a mixed reality solution:

http://www.techradar.com/news/weara...le-s-ar-and-vr-plans-might-take-shape-1329543

When can we expect to see some products?

Don't hold your breath for exciting new hardware. While Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says that Apple is working on several "mixed reality" projects, he projects that initially they will be software-driven and on iOS devices.

According to Seeking Alpha, Munster predicts that Apple may offer a VR/AR API to hardware developers, much like the Made For iPhone program by 2018 โ€“ but a glasses-style "mixed reality" headset is at least five years off.

Who's involved?

Apple's AR/VR team includes some big names, including computer science professor and immersive 3D interface expert Doug Bowman, former Magic Leap computer vision engineer Zeyu Li and former Oculus research scientist Yury Petrov.

Apple has also acquired multiple AR/VR companies, including real world object-tagging company Flyby Media, facial capture firm Faceshift, augmented reality developers Metaio, 3D sensor firm โ€“ and Kinect creator โ€“ PrimeSense, computer vision startup Perceptio and facial analysis developer Emotient.

In addition, Apple is believed to have hired people from Microsoft's Hololens AR project and from innovative camera firm Lytro.
