from what I'm seeing ( and i look closely ) it looks good but time will tell .
ill end with 2 quotes i heard today from tech conventions ..

"Mixed reality" is the new cool-kid phrase"

It will be interesting to see when the shift to MR begins and when the moment arrives MR market is bigger then VR.

In the past 6 months there is already so much traction / progress and everythings is going great!

Yes i have invested a couple of thousants in MR domains but it will be so exciting to see what 2017 will bring!

I am telling people Magic Leap is so high tech it is almost like some kind of alien technology.

Short names with a huge subdomain potential!

Think of a holograpic (360) image. People will search for "mr pics or pics mr" shortest way to find. Why i think mr pics will be very popular? Imagine playing a mr video of a person... yes the person is in your room but because it is pre recorded the fake reality is exposed. With a mr 360 picture it looks like a frozen moment like somebody is there for real. Mads have a great catch with the VideosMR. I have te lesser quality one TubeMR for people in search of a video. But i do have the MR***Video(s) in king.

I like to add. The VideosMR from Mads is a golden name and of course videos will be more popular then pics but because of the holograpic 360 feature i think pictures will make a comeback.

Nice catch.

I am pleased with my latest regs... but burning money fast. Still i rather like to reg a couple of MR domains and not go out partying and throwing my money away at expensive drinks. I was going out 2 weeks ago and spending €75 at one night to a lot of drinks. Imagine if i would do this every week and how better investment it will be to reg some MR domains. Yes i like to "live the good life" but in order to get to the next level it is better to pass sometimes and rather invest the money.

Enough is enough. Yes we have both a lot of different niches coverd. The last week i was lucky with finding some nice keywords but indeed it is harder and harder to find good ones. Loaded for 2017 and now looking forward to sell some. I will add them on Sedo when the next months i will not get enough affiliate earnings. Just to get some regfees back but the golden ones i will not touch for the next years.

People will still shorten the domain. If a company develop a big site on CarsMRS or MRSCars people will make the mistake to not add the s and this will generate even more free traffic for the MRCars or CarsMR holder.

But they where talking about a new protocol for making better use of MR software for browsing online.

Just got sent a private message asking why I paid $240 for MR Casino.net

I will try to justify it somewhat here as well.

If "MR" becomes a technology abbreviation then there is potential to make ROI because casino is a very good keyword:

Online Casino (.net) sold for $49,999
Casinos Online (.net) sold for $29,000
Casino 777 (.net) sold for $20,000

MR Casino (.net) also holds a brandable factor so even without the technology association of mixed reality there is potential to sell for more than I paid for it imo.

The moment I reg'd my first merged reality domains I had a message 2 minutes later from you to say, the term merged reality won't stick lol
