I'm starting the official Mixed Reality thread. With Microsoft and others pushing for this phrase some of us are hoping to benefit. This is where we discuss and show case our domains.

People will shorten mixed reality to MR. It is also reported in several news articles / shorted to (MR).

Indeed, there is a long way to go. But because of the underdog position of MR domains you can step in at a low price moment. People in the VR thread are registering all kind of domains but most single keyword domains where all regged back in 2015 and the better ones already in 2014.

Long story short. Step in before the rest of the competitors.

Well ill share it only because ive got my share of regs in the niche.
Have you seen the ammount of cloud sales that refer to cloud computing and not the clouds in the skies?

As someone that been in the niche for a long time now i can say that people that are not invested in the niche know nothing about whats happening behind the scenes , i can say that even a lot of the ones invested dont really understand the changes in the market, as MR is being shaped slowly as an AR+VR solution and being enbraced by media, journalism, techies(surprisingly) and soon consumers.

Some recent stuff

1) mixed reality and MR is getting real popular lately all over media channels.
Just yesterday in ota 2016 convention it got number 3 trend as a catch all term for VR AR & 360 (not AR or VR)

2) as always everything is getting shortened and MR is being used daily as the acronym for mixed reality.
3)no reported end user sales yet for the acronym, but already some nice sales for the longtails plus plenty of stuff behind the scenes
4)i know personally about atleast 2 companies thinking seriously about rebranding their VR/AR names to MR when thinking about the big picture and its hasent really started yet lol

Just want to add it is a real blessing everyone is looking at the VR thread and ignoring everyting else. Lately there is some more action at the AR thread but MR seems like the real underdog. I can't complain, regging single premium MR keywords and people at the VR thread are now starting to reg 3 keyword domains.

Of course i hope they will make a profit but to me it seems a better investment to reg single keyword domains and maybe some 2 keyword in gambling niche or other higly profitable / proven market.

Maybe i get now my first dislike but at least i try to give my honest opinium.
