    Hello

I had a domain backordered via dropcatch.com ( flooddamagedata()org ) and today got an email that they have missed this domain. But than I've checked the whois data it appears that they actually have caught it ? Are they cheating or am I missing something here ?

There was actually an error with the .ORG Registry (PIR) yesterday for all dropped domains on 09/11/2016. The registry is working on getting this fixed, and we have updated all .org backorders in DropCatch to not state "missed", they are just unknown at this point.

Essentially, the registry did not award the domains to the registrars, so we are unable to manage them. Once they get these domains placed with the proper registrars, we will be able to award them to customers and start auctions if necessary. I will update this thread when that happens, but we are simply waiting on PIR at this point.

PIR has corrected this issue, and all domains were properly awarded. All .ORG domains that had a single backorder on them have been placed into each appropriate user's cart, and auctions for .ORG domains will last for 3 days from today. If there are any further questions regarding this, you may always reach us at [email protected].

Thank you all for your patience and understanding!
