Million Dollar Home Page- How is it getting the TRAFFIC ???

You all must have heard about the Milliondollarhomepage ..
Who sales pixels in his website...

How could he have started it off with a completely new website without any serious traffic ??

Has anyone started something similar to his ???

lots of people have made knock offs over the years that were pretty much just small variations of the pixel model. I'll try to find some examples and post em.

The way it originally got traffic was that he shelled out big money for press releases. Once the press picked up his project the site started getting alot of attention and traffic. It was more viral than anything else. Also, once the million dollar homepage took off he put lots of money back into press releases to keep the buyers coming.

After the pixel model came word cloud sites and so on.. the first guy in always makes the most $$

Exactly.. there were thousands of pixel sites that cropped up and then disappeared again after the Million Dollar Homepage.. he made money, very few imitators did unless it was selling pixel sites to others.

yeah, Not worth it. the pixel fad is really old and the scripts are rather cheap now.
