My mouses batteries died, so I plugged in a wired ball mouse. I just found some batteries and put them in, and now my mouse is all messed up.
Middle clicking is broken.
In FF (and IE and Opera, at least), you can middle click on a link and it'll open in a new tab. Then you can middle click the tab, and it will close it. That doesn't work anymore; nothing happens. (I have a bunch of other stuff that middle clicking can do, too, because of my extensions.)
I restarted my computer, and now scrolling and pushing the middle button to the side work again, but middle clicking is broken. [Picture - you can see arrows on both sides of the wheel.]
I mainly just use FF for everything on my computer (except for IM), so I haven't noticed anything else being messed up, and hopefully nothing is.
Anyone know how to fix this?
edit: I closed the Logitech SetPoint thing which controls what the extra buttons do on my mouse and keyboard, and middle clicking is working. But now moving the wheel to the side is broken, because that's what part of the program does. :td:
