I hate my wireless mouse.

Well, this is pretty much just a rant.

A few weeks ago I was in at Wal Mart because my regular optical mouse had died out. So I went to Wal Mart to get a new mouse and found one, looked over the box, and seen it was optical and then I bought it. When I got home I noticed something on the package that I hadn't seen at the store ( -_- damnit) it said it was a "wireless optical mouse".

Well, to make a long story short: my mouse died out about a half hour ago and I've been tabbing my way through everything which is a real b*tch on the internet because you have to tab through every single thing that is a hyperlink. It took me about a minute just to tab here to make a new topic.

So now I've got to wait 3 hours for the batteries to charge (since I haven't got any new ones around) and I get to use my keyboard soley this time. The moral of this story: unless you work for Duracell and have a whole shipment of AA batteries in your basement, never, I mean never buy a wireless mouse/keybord/etc.

Just some friendly advice.

/me goes back to tabbing. :|

I have a mini-Microsoft wireless. I forgot the exact model but I like it a lot and the USB dongle is small as well so I have no complaints about it.

i had a wireless mouse and keyboard.

the batteries lasted for ages i could go easily 3months on 2 AAA batteries

then i shoved a screwdriver through the keyboard and through the mouse out the window. needless to say neither survived.

I hate my wireless mouse and keyboard. The batteries aren't the only problem..the keyboard misses strokes and the mouse jumps all over sometimes...EVEN WITH FRESH BATTRIES RIGHT BY THE SENSOR!!! I will NEVER buy wireless peripherals again.

I had a wireless optical mouse/keyboard, but I returned it shortly thereafter.

Was extremely skippy, didn't work from even three feet away.

Never going to buy one again.

I currently have an optical mouse, which I am happy with.

I'm not a fan of the wireless mouse, all the ones I have used have been heavy... and I'm just too lazy to worry about batteries and charging, haha. I just bought an Apple mighty mouse a few days ago, can't wait to try it out :)
