Hi,
I wasn't sure were to post this,
The Break Room is all encompassing so to the Mod's,
that is why I chose this forum.

I just got my first laptop a few months back.
At first I hated it because of the little mousepad in the middle of it,
that you have to use your fingers for.
Never really got the hang of that.
Then I discovered The external mouse.
Now, I really like it, as long as I am using the mouse!

Well, there has been a random problem that I cannot figure out.
Once in every 5 times I get on, all of a sudden,
my copy and paste function just disappears.
I can still do everything else, use the mouse to click everything,
but I cant use the copy/paste function,
On the external mouse, and the mouse pad on laptop.
It is a real pain in the but when searching,
and grabbing a new list of domains.
I usually copy & paste them into a notebook, then ultimately copy & paste them into my cart.
So, right now I have a bunch of .info's on my notepad, that I can't do anything with.
Actually I can highlight them.
That's it.
Now I will have to just call these in, because I can't move them anywhere.
And hope that all of the spellings I give them stay correct as I relay them to a phone rep.
Now the only solution I have had is to shut the comp. down and re-start it.
But I thought I'd ask here, just incase someone else has had this problem.
Maybe there is a quick fix???
Any idea's?
Thank You,
Red Rock!

GoDaddyGoDaddy
ctrl+a highlights everything
ctrl+c copies the text into the clipboard
ctrl+v paste the text from the clipboard into whatever you want
ctrl+x cuts the text from your document, useful if you want to keep your document lean :)

These keyboard shortcuts are not only for text, you can use them also with files

Hope this helps, i have the c&p malfunction also sometimes(but not that often than you)

Cheers,

Frank
