I'll change the subject.
I started with domains end of 2015, tried some weird combination of numbers for the chines market (failed) and came across namepros and the promise of Mixed Reality.
In that time the VR thread was the hottest thing around (created by
@mrcurly that always knew to spot trends before most) and as I always loved tech and gadgets I started to read and learned a lot from this thread.
I think my first sale was a 600 usd BlenderVR.com sale but since the beginning I looked for a niche that will represent the entire ecosystem of the change that is upon us and for me it was Mixed Reality (and MR)
I think I made about 3k in sales in that niche but as the idea was good, the results not so much so I dropped most MR names that no one embraced and kept (still own them) about 15 top long tails.
At that time 2016 2017 I heard about a few other ways to explain the whole market and focused on 1 that is XR bought top names, opened the XR thread, made about 30k in sales (99% to end users) and still hold about 60 great names that I believe will bring a lot of $$$
2 one was Immersive which I spotted late, always loved it but people bought all the good ones in 2015. Immersive as a descriptor can work great for any immersive experience that comes to mind be it vr ar etc so slowly I picked up names, traded and hustled my way to owning the top names.
I spotted Metaverse I think on 2017 2018 and Again was late.. had none, all the best were scooped in 2015 but I loved it as another idea of the entire new digital world and it became my new target, so again, traded hustled not a lot of sleep in these days
(I own AR,VR and others as well)
Over the years I missed other niches like Defi, nft, digital, cannabis etc not all good but was happy with what I got (in time I also started to look outside of this niche and diversify first to other technologies and last outside of tech- diversifying is super important)
Thing is, I was totally worried that the ar vr xr industry got no money. They have future use cases but no crowd.
Never even crossed my mind that Crypto will be a part of it but now I see it all.
Everything makes sense.
Purchase nft's stock in the Metaverse and build your new world (kids are there already btw!)
Play games, gambling, buy land etc)
Final thoughts, Im bullish like I've never been.
