Many "meta" domains are likely defendable. The term existed long before Facebook used it.

"Meta Quest", not so much.

The days of Facebook going on "meta" domain buying sprees are probably over.

Wow. You sold 8 domains to them? You must have made some good money. I would say drop most of those domains.

I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying.

Meta itself could be defendable. For instance MetaSolutions.com, MetaGroup.com, etc.
The term "meta" has been used for a long time, and for other uses.

It is hard to defend the term "Meta Quest" though. That has a well known connection to Facebook.

They have won every UDRP they have filed for the term.
They are 12-0 with (5) pending cases.

Even if you could find an attorney willing to take this dispute, it is likely an exercise in futility.

Yes, but the attorney would not be sending emails that are going to do more harm than good.

Nope,if i was ,everyone here does the same thing,so called investing

No. If I buy a piece of land and build a house on it, that's investing.

If I build a house on land that belongs to you, that's not investing.

You do know that Meta's lawyers can read this forum too, right?

If I registered the "metaquest" domain before they rebranded it, can I defend their UDRP filing?

Wow. You've made a ton of money and still couldn't stop gambling with Meta. Greed kills.
