Do I have to register a name at me.tv to be able to create my TV channel? What if I have a .TV name registered to another registrar? Also, can I use ads on my me.tv site?

I have been trying to explain to the guys at DM that there is a problem when uploading banners. Seems the file is compressed and it creates a watery effect. This is what I mean:

I know other people have noticed it too. Seems to be worse with coloured lettering. Hope they sort it becuase it looks bad.

i never tried this but do they allow png's and if yes
has anyone uploaded a png file and had the same bad results?

Yes. It makes no difference whatsoever whether it is gif, png or jpeg. The results will be exactly the same.

Its the best way to avoid the 'avatar' horizontal squish. As far as the name itself, personally, I think AllThingsTV.TV would have been better, brand-wise, than allthings2.tv. But thats me (sorry).
