Just came across this:

The Constitution has little relevance to the government, but still it's interesting to note that the crazed John McCain was born, to his state-connected parents, in the Panama Canal Zone. The Zone, the product of US imperialism under the crazed Teddy Roosevelt, was never officially US territory. That is, McCain was born in a foreign country, and therefore not eligible to be president, according to the Constitution.

:hehe: :-/

Now that would suck for the McCain supporters!

I honestly thought Paul had a good shot or even Huckabee.. the MSM seems to have negated that option. Tho I guess it ain't over yet, I was hoping the online support for Paul would translate into real world votes.
I kind of hope he runs as an Independent, especially if it comes down to Hillary vs. McCain. :) I respect McCain as a person, and he made some great contributions to our country, but I don't want him to be the leader of the "free" world.

:imho: It will come down to Obama vs. McCain, with Obama crushing McCain in the general election.

Just a short side-remark but, although I respect anyone's opinions, I disagree on the military statements above. I would never fight for my country. Really, I would never fight for anything and I am really glad in Europe military service has been abolished. Not that I would get in anyway (I have Aspergers) but I have strong pacifist ideals so I would not want involvement in any military activity, not for any reason. I have no patriottic feelings anyway, to serve in the military for my country would be something I would refuse on the spot.

So if your Region was invaded - You'd just set there and take it ? Or you'd rely on the fact other countries would defend you ?

First of all, I have Asperger Syndrome, so I doubt any army in the world would even accept me even if I wanted to.

Secondly, I would just move to another location where I am safe. Not only I am not prepared to risk my own life for anything such as patriottism (which is inexistant to me anyway, patriottism and nationalism are not my cup of tea) but also I have serious moral objections to carrying guns and military actions. I am a convinced pacifist and would not want to participate in any military activity. I don't care what country is involved, but I refuse to carry a weapon, let alone to participate in a war. It goes against all my own believes.

And although I have absolutely nothing against them, I also have no true respect for those who fight in a war. IMO they are doing something that is morally not right. OK, a country needs to defend itself, I can accept that fact. But don't ask me to consider the soldiers heroes or so, I just cannot do that. Even if they saved a country from occupation, they still were engaged in military actions and I can impossibly consider this right.
