I recently registered the new gtld master.degree
Estibot tells me it's worth $15.000, but I can't believe that. I think it is worth less, since the word master can be registered in all of the new endings.
Has someone experience with evaluating the worth of a domain with the new extensions?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It is a nice combination of words, the sort that I would register. The domain has little resale value because the demand for new extensions is uncertain. But I believe it has good end user value, especially in future. So I would leave it listed for a few years, and my target price would be between 2k and 5k.

P.S. One thing that has a negative impact is that Master degree (M.Sc.) is often called "Master's degree". The ideal would be to own both, IMO.

20 million Dollars naa i wish its a great name tho i would say you can get $5 K to the right buyer, it appeals to several areas and is very clever,
I scooped up Squared.Space and people are telling me it aint worth a dime
See if you can get masters.degree as well

At least this name makes sense. But it's hard to appraise domain names in new extensions when there is no established market.
I could tell you a few grands but you need an interested buyer for a sale to materialize.
One thing to consider is how much you paid for the initial registration and the renewals. I mean, if you paid $5000 to get it, it makes resale more difficult because you must make a profit out of it.

Yea thats true honestly i haven't invested in much domains other than .xyz .com and .ca

but i did grab LegalWeed.Online which i think makes sense
Master.Degree makes sense as well see if you can grab Bachelors.Degree

im kinda weary on buying longer extenstions unless for sure they make sense

Masters Degree is the ideal but fair name. I would say $2500-3000. 1500 in today's market

Thanks for all that feedback! I think I keep going with $2500 since I don't want to wait several years... Just needed to be sure I'm not making a big mistake :D
