You need hosting in order to add SSL.. and when domain is moved to your account you wont have it.

You need hosting in order to add SSL.. and when domain is moved to your account you wont have it.

That's correct the change makes its SSL no longer valid and necessitates buying and installing a new SSL so it's an odd request by the new member. An SSL is based on domain ownership and website it resolves to, not on the name itself.
