Hi.

Bought this domain in 2013 for a project which never came off, most recent reg update last Aug 2015.

Obviously "wrx" is very heavily aimed towards Subaru, but it's not trademarked AFAIK as WRX is just "World Rally Cross".
It would be good to get some feedback on what people think this domain could bring.

Cheers

Hello hawananeo. I am from the UK and co.uk domains are becoming very popular. I can't remember the source but smaller businesses prefer them to dot com in England to a ratio of 60/40 %

As a LLLL it could have value but it does it does not really make sense on it's own. I think it will have to be sold to an end user for maybe low xxx but I could be wrong of course.

One other thing. If you can find a buyer make sure you reg the dot UK version as well. As the owner of co.uk only you can do this at the moment.

Good luck.

Best,
Paul

Thanks for the replies both. Is a domain like this more likely to be valuable with website content? Such as I aim towards Subaru clubs or drivers somehow - for example a site with Subaru info, or a forum (I know how hard a forum is to get going, it's just an example).

Hi hawanaeo.

This is just IMO. Sorry but I cannot see value in your domain.

However I am new(ish) to this myself so others may disagree. I do think with the 'l' it does not make any sense. wrx on it's own might kick in.

On a more positive note though co.uk are being used very much in the UK. Maybe you could spend an hour checking how many LLLL.co.uk are still free to hand reg. If you are unable to find any then hang on to your domain as a 'keeper'.

Hope you do well with it anyway.

Best,
Paul

Hi Paul,

No worries, positive and negative feedback is good as I wanted to know a general consensus :)

The site was going to be about Subaru, and the L was no issue as it stood for something. I might be better finishing the project and selling that to an enthusiast as it is quite niche.
Thanks for the feedback, you've probs helped me conclude what I need to do anyway. Cheers

Ok hawanaeo. Good luck with it - I hope it does well.

Do consider regging the dot uk as well. Certainly do this if you feel there is some 'mileage' with the domain.

Best,
Paul
