Hello,

This might be a repetitive question but it would great if I could have some helpful answer from fellow members.

Since godaddy has increased a price, I would like to change my domain registrar. Please suggest domain registrar whose fees are low cost.

I am looking for
a) low cost domains
b) free privacy registration (it is good to have but not mandatory)
c) it would be good if the company is good/big like godaddy ( basically i would like to avoid small companies to avoid any problem later)
d) good support
e) good interface for payment and buying etc

Please advice.

PS: This is just to inform you that I don't trade in domains, I make websites.

My personal favorite registrar is definitely www.name.com

Check them out.

Godaddy is the cheapest hands down. Their prices have increased on the surface, but you can still get .coms for $6.99 if you look. I've also noticed if you buy 5 or more at one time, free whois is tacked on a lot of times.

Free whois is also regular on Name.com and Namecheap.com for single domain purchases. Their prices are about $2 higher than Godaddy for .coms plus I see little in the way of renewal breaks on them. Godaddy always has coupon codes available.

Moniker has decent prices and may be the best with .nets overall.

Remember that free whois only lasts for a year and after that you'll have to shovel over $7 or close to it to retain privacy.
