I was disappointed myself in the season finale.
Mainly because I do not want to wait until Dec. to some questions I have answered!

Yeah, like why do they have to go back?

But I'll bet they had to leave people there in order to
get rescued....and when Kate said "he will be waiting" I'll bet she meant
Sawyer.....any takers

I do not think it was a flash forward ;)

I think it was a flash forward, it had to have been. But I, too, was disappointed that not many questions were answered.

I dont think it was a Flash forward .. I just think the Writers and Producers had a good time in the 70's and 80's :guilty:

I think it was present time, not a flash forward, the island happened in 2004, so what they showed us must have been "now".

all that we have been shown about the life on the island happened in 2004, they gave us the date when Desmond was explaining it was his fault the plain crashed by not pushing the button, he showed them a data read out and the data was something 2004.

If its now, its still the future compared to 2004, right?

Perhaps thats how the next series will go, flash forwards!

That way you get to understand the story more. JACOB is AI, I'm sure of it...

The weird part is - On the Island .... Ben Clearly said to Jack "Why do you want to go Back ? Theres nothing there for you - Your Father is dead ...."

But within Jack's "Flashes" - He tells the head of Surgery "Go get my father and If I'm any Drunker than Him - I'll leave" and it is Definitely in the same timeframe as the last scene with Freckles and Jack at the Airport -

:| Maybe it was Jack's Oxycodone speaking ~

I think that was meant as in get him down here from heaven? because the way the head of surgery or whatever he was, looked at him really funny when he said that.

There is a podcast somewhere, I found a link on the lost forums, it is a flash forward to present time, one of the writers confirms this in the podcast.

West (best) coast here :D

Did you watch it again? What's your thought?

I think it's present day and Jack is tortured by something
that happened before they left, probably a deal he had to make
to save them. He thinks they've got to go back and get the rest
maybe......damn I should just write it for them

Wouldn't he be just the guy you want sitting next
to you on a long flight :talk:
He's praying all the time, aww that's sweet - then he tells you it's so it'll crash :bah:

I've watched it 3 times  - Still LOST :guilty:

I do think if you look closely (Look a the size of the :cy: when he looks in the glass at charlie) - The porthole Busted from the Grenade explosion was wide enough for someone to slide through :snaphappy: Especially someone small like Charlie

But then Des' "prophecy" wouldn't hold true. As he explained, Charlie had to die to get Claire off the island. However, we now know, that might be just as bad as being stuck:!
