Oh please let it rain...

So, i'm sweating it out here in phoenix...high humidity, high temps, high air conditioning bills.

When is it going to rain???? We're getting a lot of thunder storms (thunder no rain) and dust storms (dust no rain)....but i want it to pour down. It's so frustrating, I see the storm warnings on TV, but i don't see the storms.

I remember when i moved down to Phoenix about 20 years ago, we used to get some *nice* *regular* monsoon storms that would cool off the place for 5 or 10 minutes. Now it seems like we get maybe 1 or 2 'stormlets' during 'monsoon season' ...and they only seem to make the place humider and hotter.

I'm so ready for summer to be over so that we can start our 8 spring season. Is there a summer groundhogs day that will tell us how many days there is left in the summer time?

The whole world is going crazy...and global warming supposedly does not exist.

We had the entire city shut down two years back, floods everywhere, cars left on the roads, almost a million people stranded all over the city.

This year we had 15 days of rain and then dry - monsoon is supposed to end in September, here's july and no rain ????
