Oh please let it rain...

So, i'm sweating it out here in phoenix...high humidity, high temps, high air conditioning bills.

When is it going to rain???? We're getting a lot of thunder storms (thunder no rain) and dust storms (dust no rain)....but i want it to pour down. It's so frustrating, I see the storm warnings on TV, but i don't see the storms.

I remember when i moved down to Phoenix about 20 years ago, we used to get some *nice* *regular* monsoon storms that would cool off the place for 5 or 10 minutes. Now it seems like we get maybe 1 or 2 'stormlets' during 'monsoon season' ...and they only seem to make the place humider and hotter.

I'm so ready for summer to be over so that we can start our 8 spring season. Is there a summer groundhogs day that will tell us how many days there is left in the summer time?

In Colombo its soo hot these days too. But still get rain once a few days. Hope there will be thunder showers in yr place soon ...

I'm love when it rain at night, It feels soo great to be in bed and listen to the sound of rain drops.

(I didn't either, I was fast asleep during the summer's largest rainfall over here).

Today it was miserable outside... it was soo hot and sooo humid. The dark thunderclouds where hanging up above taunting and teasing me....

Well I live in Los Angeles. And it has been the same here as well. Hot and Humid. Real humid. I know there has been rain with in 90 minutes of here in most directions for a few days off and on, But today Los Angeles finally got some light rain for about 1 hour or so. Its still going. Hope it will last.

So I hope some of it will come your way over in Phoenix.

Last couple of days and nights have been beautiful here in Kentucky.

Warm days and coolish nights. Could use some more rain but we're good for now.
