discuss Lose domain I like for the first time auction

I was lose a domain I very love from an DC auction last night, this is the first time join domain auction, the winner with 3000$ bid. In my country (Viet Nam) currency exchange rate low so $3000 is too much with me (about half annual salary). I can only bid max $1500. I have many plan with that domain if I can catch it, too sad

Welcome to the NP, sometime money talks....but some time not really, if you do have plan, u may want find some cheaper alternative to reg or purchase...and implement your project/plan first...once your get deeper pocket....u can change to better name in future, or at that time your own name already not need change....

Now chasing your domain is difficult and may cost you furthermore. If you are really on it, you should have pushed that extra line in the auction. What is the value of money if it is not buying the most important thing for you.

It is the same for everyone in an auction. You need to win other bidders no matter where they are from.

Here I agree with @Zilla , work with .Io or any other extensions. Once the project succeed buy your desired domain.
