Since you just paid $1964 for LosAngelesProperty.com, in a domainer auction, I guess that is pretty good reflection of current wholesale price for this domain in the reseller market right now?
The .org version is held by a domainer. The .net is held by a domainer too (for sale for $588). The .us is owned by someone in Hong Kong (presumably also a domainer). “LosAngelesProperty” is not registered in any other extensions (and not owned in any extensions by end-users).
LosAngelesHomes.com sold for $9300 last year. LosAngelesRealtor.com sold for $3000 in 2011
While the LosAngelesHomes.com sale looks like a nice comp, keep in mind that US CityName+homes .com has a very strong sales history with top sales like:
austinhomes.com $40,000
denverhomes.com $35,500
fortworthhomes.com $34,100
bloomfieldhomes.com $30,000
etc.
The top reported US CityName+property .com sales:
sohoproperty.com $7,000
scottsdaleproperty.com $3,300
prestonproperty.com $3,038
oakvilleproperty.com $2,688
etc.
The name of the city plays a big part too of course. Looking at it quantitatively, there are 139 .com sales over $2000 ending with “homes”, and only 64 ending with “property”, indicating lower demand for the latter, and surpassing the $9300 DNS sale of LosAngelesHomes.com that happened less than a year ago is probably not going to be easy (both names were listed on DNS, one sold for $9K, the other let to expire - though it is
still listed). The domain was let to expire by a domainer, and resolved to a parking/inquiry page for the last 5 years at least.
All you need is one real estate agent/company who really wants the domain, and you might be able to get a good sale. But I think it’s going to be hard to get a reasonable return (10x or more) on this purchase.
Personally I would have priced it at $5000.
Why are you asking for an appraisal for DallasProperty.Com? You don't own this domain.
edit: OK, so I see you have changed your appraisal title from LosAngelesProperty.com to LosAngelesProperties.com, another domain you don't own...
What's the point of asking for an appraisal of two domains you don't own?
Since a user with the bidder handle of "insha00010" bought LosAngelesProperty.com yesterday, which I assume is you, why not just ask for appraisals of the domain you actually own?
