Thats my impression so far. Domains in general each year have; and even now seem to be on track to continue on a steady path of phenomical yearly increases.
Also many domain trends are back on track, such as brandables, keyword and dictionary domains which were taking a back seat to LLLL.com which are really not as rare as some believe (I still keep a good amount of select ones for when needed, however) - though I think everything will continue to increase - especially developed assests as they gain revenue and value at greater increments. Compared to the risk of the stock market - investing in good domains; whether 13 years ago, 6 years ago, 2 years ago - or starting today - is not just a safer bet, but a sure bet in my opinion.
What are your thoughts, future expectations regarding trends etc.
I see (and am seeing) high development pace for .tv .at .cn and yes having the right .mobi's is a great investment - don't listen to people that say it's 10 years away, certain .mobis are starting to sell real well right now! I can attest to that.
