Looking for domain tool

Is there any tool that can show me how many times a word or phrase or domain has been searched on the search engines.(Except the overture).
I want to buy a domain -like textlink...-but I need to know if it will get any traffic.Thank you

i dont will it be helpfull for you but when i try to buy a new domain related about one subject i use google trends,
i check the results..that is all
