What was the longest time you held a domain... and then finally dropped it?
Was it a good domain? Any regrets?

I don't regret saving money by dropping domains with no future.

10+ years but it was a .DE which cost me only $3.50 per year, so no regrets. It was caught on the drop and is now offered for sale again.

I held one for 7 years without using it or selling it. Finally dropped it.

You don't usually drop anything worth something unless you made a huge mistake. Keep it 50 years if you have to unless it's something thats bending with the trends.

I had 2 that I owned for years and years... was about to drop BOTH and sold them right before (for a fair profit.) lol

BTW one was inbound the other was BIN'ed on a lander totaling into $xxxx.
