I intentionally didn't regged it because I was hoping for someone to grabbed it for the site similar to DYYO.com.

Since you will develop it for LLLL.net I am so glad it went to the right hand.

You'll definitely get lots of visits once developed.

DYYO.net or .info or .org was regged lately (can`t remember which one of the 3 ) and we told that guy that it was really bad taste so I think he dropped it back.

Bad taste to copy someone that helped us so much without anything in return since there were no banners in DYYO.com

Well..I did used DYYO sometimes but there are many sites similar to DYYO so the idea of having a guide for LLLL.net isn't really a copycat. These types sites existed allover the net. It just happen that DYYO.com become more popular because the impact of the site came from this community

Clowesy doesn't have to use the DYYO.net. I would be more than happy to give him a different LLLL.net from my portfolio for free. I don't mind doing that since such a site will be good for this community IMO.

That would be a different story. You understand that using DYYO.net would be just because DYYO.com existed otherwise why to reg a .net with double Y when there are plenty of better looking names?

If you read my respond I pointed out that he doesn't have to use DYYO.net

So I agree that this could be unethical but if he ask for permission with DYYO.com owner and agreed I don't think that could be a problem.

What problem I see is when someone is trying to be so ethical but regged some domain with major TM issue.

MySpace has made a fortune so no harm in making a few bucks out of it, actually by using MySpaceLayout.tv (if I develop it) I`d just help MySpace by advertising for them more their site.

DYYO.com creator (3par) is one of us who earned and deserves my respect for what he did and how he helped us , without asking for nothing and without putting any banners in his website.

I was a big fan of dyyo.com and I think that would be quite the honor to name your site in honor of Dyyo.com's Greatness.

I'm looking forward to your project clowesy. Perhaps you can ask 3par if you can continue his DYYO legacy. What's the worst could happen? Nothing really but having a new name.

Now clowesy's ethics is more like it unlike others who's trying to be so ethical but themselves are guilty of unenthical practice. I just can't stand people who don't practice what they preach. There is a terminology for it I just couldn't think of it.
