expecting payment soon..
they charged only 10%, domain was parked

i guess next time i will set a bin price to avoid fees..

when i bought pvj.org, it took me almost 2 weeks since i posted a wanted thread here on namepros!

lol. like most of the people they prefer going to expire auctions and entering into bidding wars

i agree 190 was a good price for current market conditions. congrats

note: Sedo has changed rules starting yesterday and now they charge a mininum of $50 when a domain is not parked at Sedo or it is parked but is not set as a BIN price.

after being picked up on NameJet at $888 togheter with JAY.INFO at $610. the next day both went on auction at Sedo after receiving low bids.

is the traditional "all good letters"? if that is the case then no. $1000 is actually the high end of the market. there have been alot of sales bellow 1k. the minimum price is currently around $700 USD. the worst letter combos can go to high $3xx.

the LLL.ORG has a more wild range of prices. with all good letters it can fetch tipically between $400 to $800 but there have been cases of prices going to 1k and above.

this are all resseller prices. to end-users they can fetch much higher values.

TTS.ORG was sold in Mar09 for more than 8K. More recently, YAR.ORG, with its non premium Y got to $2,977 and EOT.ORG reach $4,111.

curiously, premium .ORG are fetching prices close to premium .NET. it seems like .ORG is getting more value in current market conditions. so, the rule of thumb of a .ORG valued at 2 or 3 times less than a .NET is not holding.

namebio is, lets say, somewhat biased :blink:

since it was acquired (?) by oversee it has been missing a lot of sales. relying in namebio now is close to relying in 3character.com...

Yea I believe so, NB misses a lot of sales, just a couple get reported.

Minimums for LLL.net are $375ish for crappy letters, $800ish for triple premiums.
.org: Minimum for crappy letters high $xx, min. for triples: around $200.
LLL.info's are min $40 for the worst combos, around min. $120 for triple premiums.

on expired auctions a few went to those values when the market hit bottom and everyone was scare to buy anything in the begining of the second quarter.

BuyDomains is particularly active in the short names segment. It's funny however how they operate. when the warehousers at RegistrarAds drop a bunch of them in this summer they caught most of them, with horrible combos all above $200. if you contact them to know their offers they will offer you $100. got to love human psicology :lala:

most people looks at the same sheet and acts the same way. it's allways a question of the right person being in the right moment at the right place.

one note for LLL infos. they finally begon upticking in the last two months but they too hit high $XX for triple premiums.

by the way. who is pocketdomains? i thought they were not "working" anymore. they have been snaping good info drops, beating pool and snapnames.

PS: if you place LLL.ORG at 30x less than a LLL.COM then the market obeyed to that rule of thumb and then more => panic. now that we saw a mirror rebound premiums LLL.ORG are currently fetching values very close to similar LLL.NET => greed .
