both bought from Marchex by the same person in 2010 which immediately set them for sale on NameJet and could only fetch $550, below Reserve (the highest bidder on both was BuyDomains).

now sold on GoDaddy auctions for a hefty prices.

seems the value is in the beholder

Does anyone know why there is a "NameJet Reserve" ??
This isn't the first domain I see with a NJ Reserve, can't find anything in the FAQ.

notwithstanding not being formally acknowledge by NameJet in their site, FAQs or contract agreements, they auction domains from private owners and not only expired ones. this is why you see a "Namejet Reserve" bidder.

i guess people on the US are distracted since NameJet is a moving target waiting for a court action to be placed on them because of breaching contract rules...

This is a very small sample, but these few sales struck me as being substantially higher than we've seen for many months to 1-2 years (non-Chip):

ihg.net - $1,630 > Namejet 4/17/18

aop.net - $1,365 > Godaddy 4/17/18

jfa.net - $898 > Namejet 4/13/18

Anybody got any clues/input?

Bear in mind that most, if not all, of these reported sales are between resellers. The major sales (often higher than their .com equivalent) occur privately.
